National FFA - Volunteer Opportunity

The National FFA (Future Farmers of America) Convention will be held in Louisville on October 30-November 2. During the convention, there are a number of competitions planned which will require a lot of volunteer judges throughout our community. We are looking for volunteers in the Human Resources field to serve as judges for the Job Interview contest. This contest evaluates members on all steps that make a good interview – filling out the job application, cover letter, resume, networking skills, interview and follow-up letter.


We need 30 volunteers to help us judge during the preliminary face-to-face interviews on Wednesday, October 30 from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at The Brown Hotel. All you need is experience in interviewing.

Our greatest need for volunteers is on Wednesday afternoon; however, there are also a few other opportunities for judges. We need a couple of volunteers on Wednesday, October 30 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to conduct phone interviews.

Four judges are needed on Thursday, October 31 from 8:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. for final interviews.
