In January, LSHRM partnered with Metro Louisville to support its
10-year Compassionate City Campaign. LSHRM’s role was to define
compassion from a business perspective and to explore the role of compassion in
the workplace. In June, the LSHRM Compassion in the Workplace Project Team
surveyed LSHRM members for feedback on organizational applications and examples
of workplace compassion. An overview of the survey results is available
on the LSHRM website.
To learn more about the survey and discuss
the role of compassion within organizations, plan to attend the Project Team’s
presentation at the KYSHRM State Conference, Wednesday, September 26, 2:30-4:00
p.m. (The presentation has been preapproved for 1.5 HRCI Strategic Credit
Hours). Project Team presenters are LSHRM members: Tiffany
Cardwell, Rawleigh Richardson, Mary Rivard, Brad Shuck and Kelly Zeilman.
Thank you for attending the Compassionate Workplace Presentation
